Jacqueline Boyer, born Jacqueline Lucienne Ãliane Ducos on 23 April 1941 in Paris, France, was a French singer Born into a musical family-her parents were singers Jacques Pills and Lucienne Boyer-she began performing at a young age. She made her debut at the Théâtre de l'Ãtoile in 1959. In 1960, Jacqueline Boyer represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Tom Pillibi", winning the contest and marking France's second triumph. The song became a commercial success across several European countries. Following her win, she released a German version of "Tom Pillibi" and participated in various festivals. In 1960, she married French singer François Lubiana and began a career active across both France and Germany, performing in both languages. His notable collaborations include tours with Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, and Tino Rossi. Her career was temporarily halted by a severe car accident in 1966, but she resumed performing in 1969. In the following decades, she continued to tour internationally, including performances at the Olympia in Paris with Charles Trenet and her mother, Lucienne Boyer.
