Biography
Issam Harrisse, a rapper from Casablanca, Morocco, was born on May 22, 1993. He began to take an interest in music in his teens, drinking in music from the Internet and listening to hundreds of rap and electro tracks a day. He particularly likes Young Thug, who gave him a taste for trap. On his first tracks, such as "Caviar" and "Hasni", he manages to combine this American influence with his North African musical identity. On " Hasni " in particular, he draws inspiration from Raï and pays tribute to the Algerian artist Cheb Hasni. In 2021, the rapper put the finishing touches to his first studio album, Crystal, with production by Canadian Adam K and American 808Godz. At the same time, Issam worked with the Paris-based cultural collective Naar, which gave birth to a first collective album, Safar, the same year.
