Moroccan rapper Yasser El Malih, better known as Stormy, was born in Rabat on February 14, 1997. After growing up with a brother who was a musician in a metal band, Stormy turned to writing and producing rap songs performed in English and Moroccan Arabic. In 2016, he released his first single , âFrank Castle, â followed by other tracks such as âBravi ragazziâ (2017). In the years that followed, Stormy established himself with tracks that went viral on social media and music platforms, notably âNsinahomâ (2018) featuring Kouz1, â777â (2019), then âRRR3D, â and especially âAfricain, â which racked up millions of streams in 2020. His career then took off during the Covid-19 pandemic, with the addition of new tracks like âOu TTâ ( 2020) and âMizaneâ (2021), before the release of the album Jackpot, produced in collaboration with Tagne. In 2022, he performed at the Arab World Institute in Paris and broke through in France with tracks from the album Iceberg (2024), his first solo album. Stormy returned in 2025 with the EP Omega, followed by the album Desperado, released in 2026, featuring JRK 19, M Huncho, Mc Ph, Manal, and TIF.
