İskender Ali PaydaÅ, born on July 22, 1967, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a notable Turkish musician and arranger. He began his musical journey at age three with the drums and by five was taking piano lessons and performing as "Büyük İskender." PaydaÅ's professional career started in 1986 when he joined Kayahan's orchestra as a keyboardist, accompanying him at the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. Throughout his career, PaydaÅ has collaborated with numerous artists including Mirkelam, Nilüfer, Nazan Ãncel, and Sertab Erener, serving as a producer, arranger, and music director. He released two albums, Zamansız Åarkılar (2011) and Zamansız Åarkılar II (2014), featuring songs like "Doktor" and "Batsın Bu Dünya". In 2020, PaydaÅ founded PayRec, a production, music, and entertainment company with studios in Istanbul and Bodrum.
