Biography
Improved Sound Ltd. began in 1961 as a school band at the Willstätter-Gymnasium in Nuremberg, Germany, initially known as Pyjamas Skiffle Group. The band underwent several name changes before settling on Improved Sound Ltd. They backed Roy Black and composed music for various television productions. In 1966, they released their first single "It Is You / We Are Alone" under Polydor Records. Throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, Improved Sound Ltd. released several albums including Engelchen Macht Weiter - Hoppe Hoppe Reiter (1969), Improved Sound Limited (1971), and Catch A Singing Bird On The Road (1973). They also contributed to the soundtracks of notable films such as Im Lauf der Zeit, directed by Wim Wenders.
