Ihre Kinder was a German rock band from Nuremberg formed in 1969. The group originated from two local bands, Jonah & The Whales and Empire State Band, with members including Sonny Hennig, Muck Groh, Georg Meyer, Walter "Walti" Schneider, Olders Frenzel, and Claudia Hoff (under the stage name Judith Brigger). Their debut album, Ihre Kinder, was released in 1969. In 1970, they signed with Kuckuck Records and released Leere Hände, which included notable songs like "Leere Hände" and "Menschen wie Sand am Meer". The band gained significant attention for their appearance on the television show Wünsch Dir was in December 1970. Throughout their career, Ihre Kinder released several albums, including 2375004 (1970), Werdohl (1971), and Anfang ohne Ende (1972). They are recognized as pioneers of German-language rock music, influencing artists like Udo Lindenberg. The band disbanded in 1973 but reunited briefly from 1982 to 1984, releasing the albums Live '82 (1982) and Heute (1984).
