Ignacio Peña Vidal, born April 21, 1973, in RÃo Piedras, Puerto Rico, is a guitarist and singer-songwriter. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Peña gained prominence with his debut album El Mundo al Revés in September 2000. The album received critical acclaim for its lyrics and musical diversity. Following the album's success, Peña toured extensively, performing at festivals across Argentina, Venezuela, Panama, and the United States. In 2010, he debuted El Gran Debate del Planeta Tierra, an educational multimedia concert designed for schools. Peña has been recognized for his contributions to education and won two NATAS Suncoast Chapter Emmy Awards from 2015 through 2017 for his WIPR-TV Short Subject documentaries "Por Qué Conmemoramos" and "Soy De Una Raza Pura".
