Biography
Ian Cussick, born on June 17, 1954, in Dundee, Scotland, is a singer-songwriter who started his musical career at fifteen by forming local bands. In 1973, he joined the showband Lake and later became part of Linda and the Funky Boys, whose hit "Shame Shame Shame" sold around six million singles. Cussick released twelve solo albums and four live albums over three decades, with notable songs including "Meet Me by the Water", "Wonderlove", and "The Supernatural". He contributed to Rainer "R.A.M." Pietsch's orchestral Beatles tribute album Norwegian Wood and wrote hits for other artists, such as Baccara's "Call Me Up" (released as "Talisman" in Spanish), which reached Number 5 in Spain.
