The Hughes Turner Project was a British musical group formed in 2001 by bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes and vocalist Joe Lynn Turner. The duo released their first album, HTP, in February 2002, featuring contributions from JJ Marsh on guitar, Shane Gaalaas on drums, and Vince DiCola on keyboards. Their live performances in Japan were recorded for the album Live In Tokyo, released in August 2002. The group's second studio album, HTP II, was released in September 2003, featuring guest appearances from Steve Vai and Chad Smith. After a European tour in early 2004, the Hughes Turner Project went on an indefinite hiatus to focus on solo careers. In 2005, Glenn Hughes and Joe Lynn Turner collaborated with Mikhail Men for the album Made In Moscow, released exclusively in Russia.
