Biography
Houston Calls was an American rock band formed in 2003 in Rockaway, New Jersey. Their first album, A Collection of Short Stories, was released in 2005 under Rushmore Records. The band toured extensively with acts such as Fenix TX, Quietdrive, and Yellowcard, and appeared at festivals like Dirt Fest and the Bamboozle. In October 2008, they released their second album, The End of an Error, which included the single "Life Won't Wait". Following lineup changes and tours, Houston Calls announced their breakup in June 2009 and played their final show on August 29, 2009. The band reunited in 2023 to celebrate their 20th year anniversary and performed at the House of Independents in Asbury Park.
