Martin Boehm, known professionally as Housemeister, was born on November 11, 1977, in Germany. He is a techno DJ and producer, initially pursuing graffiti art and hip-hop before discovering rave music through events like the Love Parade and Mayday in 1994. In 1995, he moved out of his parents' home to cohabit with a friend in Kreuzberg 36, where he began his DJ career. He started working with Ellen Allien's label BPitch Control in 1999 and released his debut EP Wake Up! in 2002. Housemeister's first album, Enlarge Your Dose, was released on Boysnoize Records in 2006. The following year, he founded the label All You Can Beat with Dirty Doering and released his second album, Who Is That Noize, in 2008. Throughout his career, Housemeister has collaborated with various artists and remixed tracks for Boys Noize, Zombie Nation, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Modeselektor. Notable releases include Music Is Awesome (2011) and OP-1 (2013).
