Biography

Hollywood Monsters is an American hard rock, progressive rock, and heavy metal supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2013. The project was founded by Steph Honde, a French vocalist and guitarist born on 5 September 1975 in Manosque. Previously, Honde led the French band Café Bertrand, which released the albums Les Airs empruntés (2005) and L'Art délicat du rock'n'roll (2008). After moving to California in 2012, Honde formed the group with musicians including Don Airey, Vinny Appice, and Tim Bogert. The band's debut studio album, Big Trouble, was released on 23 May 2014, with all tracks composed by Honde. The record featured the vocalist Paul Di'Anno on the bonus track “Fuck You All”. Hollywood Monsters issued the subsequent albums Capture the Sun (2016) and Thriving on Chaos. Bogert died on 13 January 2021.
