Hesitation Wounds, an American hardcore punk band, was formed in 2012. The group consisted of Jeremy Bolm from Touché Amoré on vocals, Neeraj Kane from The Hope Conspiracy on guitar, Stephen LaCour from True Cross on bass, and Jay Weinberg, son of Max Weinberg, on drums. In May 2012, the band quickly wrote three songs and an introduction in California, which were released as their self-titled EP Hesitation Wounds in April 2013 through Secret Voice, a label founded by Bolm. The band's debut album Awake for Everything, released on May 27, 2016, was written over three days and featured themes inspired by the hardcore punk of the 90s. Notable songs from this album include "Teeth" and "Guthrie", which addressed personal and political issues. On August 30, 2019, Hesitation Wounds released their second album Chicanery through Deathwish Inc., with Thomas Cantwell replacing Weinberg on drums.
