Biography

Herborg Kråkevik, born on December 28, 1973, in Jondal, Norway, is a singer and actress. Her musical career began with the release of Mi Haugtussa in 1995. She gained recognition with Kråkeviks Songbok (2000), featuring interpretations of several Norwegian folk songs, including "Den Fyrste Sang" and a musical version of the poem "Til Ungdommen" by Nordahl Grieg. In 2005, she was appointed one of Norway's ambassadors to the Hans Christian Andersen Association. Kråkevik's subsequent albums include Annleis enn i går (2008) and Juleroser (2020).
