Biography

Hearts Grow is a five-member pop-rock band from Motobu, Okinawa, known for their bright melodies and energetic sound. Formed in 2004 by a group of local high school students, the band got their start rehearsing in a makeshift studio beneath a local bento shop called Ajisai Ongakumura. They began performing on the streets and in live houses across Okinawa before making their major debut with the single "Road" in 2006 under Epic Records Japan. The band consists of vocalist Haruna, keyboardist and vocalist Chiaki, guitarist Natsumi, guitarist Shintarou, and bassist Yusuke. Over the next few years, they released several singles and gained attention with their catchy songs, some of which were featured in anime, helping to expand their fanbase nationwide. Notably, they released the song "Yurayura"(2006) during their active period, further showcasing their upbeat and youthful musical identity. In November 2009, Hearts Grow announced an indefinite hiatus due to musical differences.
