Haruka Shimotsuki is a Japanese singer-songwriter, lyricist, and composer known for her work in fantasy-themed music. She began her career in 2001, actively participating in various projects while also engaging in independent music activities through her circles Maple Leaf and tieLeaf. In 2005, she made her major debut with the best album Ashiato Rhythm and left her IT job to focus entirely on music. Over the years, She has performed numerous solo concerts, such as Haruka Shimotsuki solo live Lv.1 in 2006 and Lv.2 in 2008. She has also collaborated with Sound Horizon, participating in their 6th Story Concert Moira tour in 2008 and later their 2011 tour. Her 2009 fantasy concept concert, FEL ARY ARIA, showcased her distinctive storytelling approach. She continued expanding her reach, forming the music unit canoue in 2012 and performing at the Fantasy Rock Festival alongside renowned composers like Nobuo Uematsu. One of her notable releases, "un secret"(2016), exemplifies her signature blend of ethereal melodies and rich storytelling, solidifying her place in Japan’s fantasy music scene.
