Biography

Yozuca, born on March 21, 1979 in Kumamoto, Japan, is a Japanese singer-songwriter known for her contributions to anime and game soundtracks. Her debut came in 2002 with the song "Da Capo: dai-2 botan no chikai", which served as the theme song for the adult PC game D.C.: Da Capo. Yozuca works under Peak A Soul+ and has most of her releases distributed by Lantis. Her early career saw collaborations with Rino of CooRie, who also sings for the Da Capo series. Together, they performed as yozurino and hosted the internet radio show Web Kissa yozurino since 2004. Yozuca's discography includes notable albums such as soleilgarden (2004), nico. (2006), and Ageha (2008). Her singles "Sakura Saku Mirai Koi Yume" (2003) and "Sakurairo no Kisetsu" (2005) achieved significant chart success, with the latter reaching gold status. She also contributed to various anime series, including D.C.: Da Capo, Girls Bravo, and Joshikousei GIRL'S-HIGH. Her work on the Da Capo series, particularly "Sakura Kimi ni Emu" (2007), earned her a platinum certification. Yozuca's impact extends to her live performances and radio shows, solidifying her presence in the Japanese music industry.
