Biography

Happysad, a Polish rock group, was formed in 2001 in Skarżysko-Kamienna by musicians who had previously performed together under different names. Initially known as HCKF and later Happy Sad Generation, the band adopted the name happysad in 2002. Their debut album Wszystko jedno was released in July 2004 through S.P. Records, with the single "Zanim pójdę" charting for 33 weeks on Polskie Radio Program III. The band's second album, Podróże z i pod prąd, released in October 2005, was well-received by critics. In September 2007, Happysad released their third album, Nieprzygoda, which became the best-selling album in Poland that month. Their live album Na żywo w Studio achieved gold status upon its release in November 2008. Subsequent albums include Mów mi dobrze in 2009 and Rekordowo letnie lato in 2019.
