Kimberley Tyler Rhodes, also known as Happy Rhodes, born on August 9, 1965, in Poughkeepsie, New York, is an American singer, musician, and songwriter. She received her first musical instrument, an acoustic guitar, at age 11 and began performing original songs in school shows by age 14. At 16, she started performing at Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she met Pat Tessitore, owner of Cathedral Sound Studios. Tessitore recorded her early songs, leading to the release of three cassettes in 1986, Rhodes I, Rhodes II, and Rearmament. Between 1986 and 2007, Happy Rhodes released eleven albums, including notable works like "Roy" (1998) and Find Me (2007). Her first CD release was Warpaint in 1991. She performed extensively in the northeast United States, with sold-out shows in Philadelphia. In 1999 and 2000, Ectofest, a music festival honoring Rhodes with all proceeds going to charity, was held in Danbury, Connecticut.
