Hanson & Davis was an American freestyle and dance-pop duo comprising session singers Aaron Hanson and Edward J. Davis, formed in 1985 in New York City. Their debut single was the freestyle and Chicago house-oriented track "Tonight (Love Will Make It Right)" (1985), edited by producer Timmy Regisford. The following year, they released the single "I'll Take You On / Hungry for Your Love / Hold On to Yesterday" (1986), which featured songs written by Kurtis Mantronik and remixed by Larry Levan. This release marked their initial success in clubs and urban radio stations. In 1987, Hanson & Davis released their debut album Can't Stop. Other notable singles included "Come Together" (1987) and "Can't Stop" (1988). The duo disbanded shortly after in 1988.
