Halfcocked, an American hard rock band, formed in Boston in 1997. The group consisted of Sarah Reitkopp on vocals, Jhen Kobran on bass and backing vocals, Tommy O'Neil on guitar, Johnny Heatley on guitar, and Charlee Johnson on drums. Influenced by 1970s hard rock, punk rock, and 1980s glam metal, Halfcocked signed with independent label Curve of the Earth Records. In 1999, they placed third in the finals of the WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble, marking a significant breakthrough. The band then signed with DreamWorks imprint Megatronic Records and relocated to Los Angeles. Their debut album Sell Out was released in 1998, followed by Occupation: Rock Star in 2000. Notable songs include "Whole in the World" from the compilation Girls! Girls! Girls! and "Sober" from the Dracula 2000 soundtrack. After numerous delays, they released their final album The Last Star in 2001 before disbanding in 2002.
