Biography
Haddad Alwi Assegaff (born 13 March 1966) is an Indonesian nasheed singer and actor. He first reached wider visibility with the release of the studio recording Cinta Rasul 1 (1999), which became the best-selling nasheed album in Indonesian music history. The work was subsequently produced in several volumes and versions. Alwi's recording career included the studio recording Dalam Simthud Duror (2003) and the collaborative recording The Way of Love (2004), which featured the vocalists Fadly and Duta. He released the compilation recording 12 Lagu Pilihan (2009) followed by the studio recording Muhammad Nabiku (2010), featuring the single "Rindu Muhammadku". His discography included the studio recording Muhammad Nabiku 2 (2011) and the compilation recording Tembang Shalawat (2015). Alwi was signed to several labels including Musika Selaras Citra between 1997 and 2004 and Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia between 2003 and 2009. His career continued with the label Warner Music Indonesia in 2007 and Falcon Music between 2010 and 2013.
