Gyojung is a South Korean indie pop band that formed in 2012 and debuted in 2018. The band's name was inspired by the fact that all the members were undergoing orthodontic treatment at that time. The members include USEDBOY (bass, vocals), Shin Jae-eun (guitar, vocals), Lee Tae-wook (guitar), and Kim Na-hyun (drums). Lee Tae-wook and Shin Jae-eun are from the same high school, and the band was created by USEDBOY as a means to heal from the pain of heartbreak. Since releasing their first EP, My Regrettable Thoughts, in 2018, they have been active mainly in Seoul. Their music embodies minimal yet rich textures through lo-fi sound, expressing the hesitant but imaginative spirit of youth with a gentle and detailed approach, capturing the subtle emotions and brief sighs of young life. Their track "Failed Reality," released on December 10, 2025, from their first full album of the same name, entered Melon's Top 500 chart at number 14 on its debut day.
