Gustafi, a Croatian folk rock band, was formed in 1980 in Vodnjan, Istria. The group, originally named Gustaph y njegovi dobri duhovi, was founded by Edi Maružin, Vlado Maružin, Äedomir MoÅ¡nja, Igor Arih and Livio Morosin. Their debut album V was released in 1985. Gustafi is known for their eclectic style that blends Istrian folk music with rock, blues, and Tex-Mex influences. The band's discography includes notable albums such as Tutofato (1994), Zarad tebe (1995), VraÄamo se odmah (1999), Na minimumu (2002), and Chupacabra (2009). They are recognized as one of the prominent examples of the Äa-val genre, a type of pop rock music with lyrics in the Chakavian dialect. Gustafi's contributions to Croatian music have been significant, particularly during the mid-1990s when their unique sound gained popularity.
