Gusokumuzu, a City Folk Band from Japan, was formed in 2014 by vocalist and guitarist Tanaka Eizo and guitarist Kato Yusuke. The band initially started as a folk duo but later expanded with the addition of bassist Horibe Yuusuke in 2016 and drummer Nakajima Takeshi in 2018. Gusokumuzu released their debut album, ã°ã½ã¯ã ãº, on December 15, 2021, which was followed by 夢ãè¦ãããªã on April 29, 2020, and 齿°ãªä¼æ¥ on December 14, 2022. The band gained significant recognition when their album ã°ã½ã¯ã 㺠won the Fourteenth CD Shop Awards in 2022. In July 2023, Gusokumuzu performed at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '2023 and announced their major label debut under Sony Music Label's KUN MUSIC during their final concert of the éã®éä¸ tour on December 17, 2023. Their major debut album, ããã¼ï¼ã°ããã¢ã¼ãã³ã°!, was released in April 2024, accompanied by a series of one-man concerts in Tokyo and Osaka. The band continued to expand their reach with nationwide tours and notable singles such as "ã¦ã¡ã®ã¯ãã¾ã." which was featured in the drama ãã³ã·ã§ã³ã»æã¯æ¡è² season2. In 2025, they released the album Scratch, featuring the track "ãã£ã¤ã".
