Biography
Grupa 220 was a Croatian rock band formed in Zagreb in 1966. The group emerged from the merger of two instrumental rock bands, Ehos and Jutarnje zvijezde. Grupa 220 quickly made an impact with their first EPs, Osmijeh and Kad bih bio Petar Pan, both released in 1967. Their debut full-length album, Naši dani, followed in 1968. The band is notable for publishing the first authored works in the local field of rock 'n' roll and achieving the first hit in the genre, which garnered them widespread popularity across Yugoslavia. Notable singles include "Prolazi Jesen / Plavi Svijet" (1968) and "Dubi Du-Di, Dubi Du-Da / Kiši I Malo Je Hladno" (1972). Their album, Slike, was released in 1975. Grupa 220 disbanded the same year.
