Biography

G.R.L. are an American pop group formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2013 by choreographer and producer Robin Antin to follow her popular group Pussycat Dolls. The original line-up featured Simone Battle, who died in 2014; Emmalyn Estrada, who left in 2015 and Paula van Oppen, who also left in 2015 plus Lauren Bennett and Natasha Slayton, who remain and were joined in 2016 by Jazzy Mejia. They released an eponymous EP in 2014 and singles including 'Vacation' (2013); 'Ugly Heart' (2014), which peaked at number nine on the U.K. Digital Song Sales chart; 'Lighthouse' (2015); and 'Are We Good?' (2017). They featured on Pitbull's 2014 track 'Wild Wild Love', which went to number five on the Official UK Singles Chart and number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.
