Biography
Greymachine, an experimental industrial metal project from the United Kingdom, was founded in 2006. The project was initiated by Justin Broadrick, frontman of Godflesh and Jesu, who started with drum beats and abstract guitar parts. In 2009, Greymachine released their debut album Disconnected through Hydra Head Records, which featured the promotional single "Vultures Descend". Allmusic described the album as "one of the most anticipated metal records of the year." Broadrick's collaborators on this project included Aaron Turner of Isis, Diarmuid Dalton of Jesu, and Dave Cochrane of Head of David.
