Greg Hampton, born in the United States of America, is an American guitarist and musician. He began his career as a member of several notable bands, including Science Faxtion with Bootsy Collins and Buckethead, The New Czars with Adrian Belew, and Razorball with Reeves Gabrels. In 2011, Hampton formed the project 9 Chambers with Ed Mundell, Jorgen Carlsson, and Vinny Appice. Hampton has contributed to numerous albums as a producer and musician, including Alice Cooper's Along Came a Spider in 2008, Tommy Bolin's Whips and Roses in 2006, Lita Ford's Wicked Wonderland in 2009, and Eli Cookâs Primitive Son in 2014. He is also known for his extensive work with Tommy Bolin's recordings, producing the tribute album Tommy Bolin and Friends: Great Gypsy Soul in 2012.
