Goldmeister, a German musical duo consisting of Chris Dunker and Philipp Ohleyér, formed in 2016 after years of collaboration, including their time together in the band Phoenix West. The duo blends music from the 1920s with 1990s hip-hop, drawing influences from swing, jazz, and lounge genres. Their debut single "Sie ist weg" was released on April 6, 2018, followed by their first album Alles Gold on June 22, 2018, under Universal Music. The album reached number 30 on the German charts. Goldmeister's music often features covers of songs by prominent hip-hop artists such as Fettes Brot, Culcha Candela, Xavier Naidoo, Peter Fox, and Jan Delay.
