Biography
Gob Squad, a rock band from Aarhus, Denmark, formed in 1996. The group initially gained traction through extensive touring and released two demos before signing with Horror Business Records for their debut album, Call For Response, in 2003. Following this release, the band continued to build their reputation with numerous concerts. In 2005, they released their second studio album, Far Beyond Control, under Wolverine Records. The following year, Gob Squad performed at Popkomm in Berlin and joined Volbeat on a tour through Denmark. During this period, lead singer Thomas Bredahl also became a member of Volbeat. In 2007, Gob Squad signed with Mascot Records and released their third album, Watch the Cripple Dance, in early 2008.
