Gigsta, real name Nono Vermoesen, is a Belgian DJ, producer, researcher and radio host whose work lies at the crossroads of experimental electronic music and club culture. Based between Berlin and Brussels, she has been developing a singular, eclectic approach since the early 2010s, blending mutated breakbeats, bass music, deconstructed techno, futuristic ambient and sonic hybridizations from more marginal traditions. Her sonic aesthetic is based on fragmentation, collage, attention to texture and a taste for non-standard rhythms. She is also active as a researcher and writer on club culture, questioning the political, social and emotional dynamics of the party and the dancefloor. In addition to her performances, Gigsta has hosted the program Fictions on Rinse France, where she explores the intersections between literature, theory, electronic music and sound narrative. Among her notable musical productions are the EPs Explicit Language (2023), It's a Lifestyle (2023), Warehouse Music (2024) and Want You (2025). In 2025, the title track from the Try Change Me EP reached number 50 in the UK singles chart and number 48 in the downloads chart.
