Biography

Gianmaria Modugno, known professionally as gIANMARIA, and born on August 25, 2002, in Vicenza, Italy, is a singer-songwriter and rapper. He showed an early interest in music and participated in the 15th edition of X Factor in 2021, finishing as runner-up under mentor Emma Marrone. His debut single "I suicidi" was released during this period. Following X Factor, Modugno signed with Epic Records and released several singles, including "Tutto o niente 2" and "Mamma scusa". These tracks preceded the release of his debut EP FallirÃ² in January 2022. In November 2022, Modugno won Sanremo Giovani with "La cittÃ che odi", securing his place in the Campioni category for the 73rd Sanremo Music Festival. His entry for the festival was "Mostro" released in February 2023.
