Biography

Georgia Ku (February 24, 1993) is an LA-based English singer-songwriter who has penned several hits for top-tier artists in the EDM and pop genres in addition to her own successful solo career. She first emerged into the scene in 2015, when she featured on the Dillon Francis and Skrillex track “Bun Up the Dance.” That same year, Georgia Ku landed songwriting credits on Zedd’s “Illusion,” Skylar Stecker’s “Crazy Beautiful,” and Inna’s “Take Me Higher.” Her debut single, “Bloodline,” came out in 2016 and was featured on the soundtrack of the American period drama film The Birth of a Nation. In 2017, she scored her first charting co-write with Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa’s “Scared to Be Lonely,” which reached Number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. The following year, Georgia Ku showed up on NOTD and Felix Jaehn’s chart-topping dance hit “So Close” and lent her songwriting talents to Rita Ora (“Soul Survivor”), MØ (“Mercy”), and Loren Gray (“Burn”). Preceded by the singles “What Do I Do?” and “Ever Really Know,” her debut EP Real saw the light in 2020 via Atlantic Records. It was followed by the collaborative single “Don’t You Hold Me Down” with British-Norwegian DJ Alan Walker in 2021.
