Biography

Gatillazo, a Spanish punk band from Salvatierra, Álava, was formed in 2003 by Evaristo, vocalist of La Polla Records. Following the death of Fernandito, the drummer of La Polla Records, Evaristo initially formed The Kagas and The Meas before creating Gatillazo with Txiki on guitar, Tripi on drums, Osoron on guitar, and Xabi on bass. Their debut album, Gatillazo, was released in March 2005. The band underwent several lineup changes, including the departure of Xabi in September 2006, replaced by Mikel, who himself was later replaced by Butonbiko in March 2008. Osoron left the group at the end of 2008 and was succeeded by Ángel. Gatillazo released five more albums: Dianas Legales (April 2007), Sex Pastels (November 2008), "Sangre y Mierda" (March 2011), Siglo XXI (April 2013), and Cómo Convertirse en Nada (April 2016). The band ceased activities in August 2019.
