Biography

Michael Katon, born in 1953 in Michigan, is an American blues-rock guitarist and vocalist. Growing up in a music-loving family, Katon began his career with the release of Boogie All Over Your Head in 1984. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, he continued to produce albums such as Proud to Be Loud (1988), Get on the Boogie Train (1993), and Rip It Hard (1994). Katon's discography spans over ten productions, including both studio albums and live recordings, with notable releases like The Rage Called Rock ’n’ Roll in 2000 and Bad Machine in 2002. In June 2014, he was voted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Katon has resided in Hell, Michigan.
