Biography
Gabby's Dollhouse is an animated children's series created by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. It launched on Netflix in January 2021. The series follows the adventures of Gabby, a bubbly, imaginative young girl who loves cats and magic. Thanks to her magic box and cat ears, she can shrink and enter her enchanted dollhouse. In this miniature world full of color and surprises, she interacts with her feline friends Pandy Pattes, Biscuitina, Sir Chatouille, Bébépierre, DJ Miaoumix and Fée Chatouille, each inhabiting a unique room in the house. Each episode is built around problem-solving, creativity and positive learning, with original songs often accompanying the adventures. The series is distinguished by its mix of 3D animation and live-action sequences with actress Laila Lockhart Kraner, who plays Gabby. The universe is centered on the idea that mistakes are part of learning - the mantra "You try, even if you fail" recurs frequently, conveying a benevolent message. Music plays a central role in engaging young viewers, making Gabby's world both endearing and immersive.
