From The Airport is a South Korean indie electronic rock duo formed in 2012, consisting of Milo (guitars, bass, vocals, synthesizers, production) and Zee (DJing, vocals, synthesizers, drums, production). The duo came together in early 2012 when they met at a friend's underground studio in Seoul. Both members had diverse musical backgrounds -- Milo in film music production and Zee in K-pop composition -- which they combined to create their unique sound. In October 2012, From The Airport released their debut single, "Colors," which was well-received by international audiences. Their early success was highlighted when their third single, "Timelines," topped the US Indie Shuffle charts. The duo's growing popularity caught the attention of the UK media, with The Guardian naming them one of the international bands of the month in February 2013. In June of that year, From The Airport signed with Fluxus Music, home to prominent Korean indie acts like Clazziquai Project and Urban Zakapa. They released their first EP, Chemical Love, in February 2014. This release continued to expand the group's reach and fanbase. It was followed by their debut full-length album, You Could Imagine, in January 2015, which helped establish them in the international music scene. Their sophomore album, The Boy Who Jumped, was released in February 2017 to great critical acclaim.
