Les Friction, an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 2011. It was composed of members Helmut Vonlichten and Nihl Finch (also known as Evan Frankfort). Their self-titled debut album Les Friction was released in 2012, featuring an instrumental bonus tracks version. Tracks in this album included "Torture," "Louder Than Words," and "Here Comes The Reign," among others. The band's second album, Dark Matter, was released in 2017, continuing the conceptual story begun with their first album. In 2020, they released The End of the Beginning under Mariposa Lane Music.
