Fred & Gustavo, a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed by Ednan Willian Rufino (Fred) and Daniel Rodrigues Alves (Gustavo), began their musical journey in 2008 with the release of their debut album Fred & Gustavo ao Vivo, featuring tracks like "Armadilha" and "Chega de Sofrer." Their 2009 follow-up, Vol. 2, included songs such as "Dona do Pedaço" and "Ponto Final." In 2011, they released Então Valeu ao Vivo, which featured the hit "Lendas e Mistérios" with Maria CecÃlia & Rodolfo. After a lineup change in 2013, with Ednan replacing original member Adliel Martins Rodrigues, the duo released Pra Ser Tudo Perfeito in 2014, featuring collaborations with Henrique & Juliano on "Bonde dos Solteiros" and Wesley Safadão on "Tó Sou Seu." Their 2015 album Eu Tô Com Você included the title track and "Desliga AÃ." In 2016, they recorded Ao Vivo em Goiânia, featuring Zé Neto & Cristiano and Maiara & Maraisa. The 2018 album Esquema showcased songs like "Velocidade do Esquecimento" with Luan Santana and "Fake News" with Thiago Brava. In 2020, after 12 years together, Fred & Gustavo announced the end of their partnership.
