Biography

Active since the early nineteen-nineties, French guitarist Fred Chapellier, like many bluesmen, has improved with age. After a solo debut in 2003 with Blues Devil and L'Oeil du Blues in 2005, Fred Chapellier went on to record with Billy Price(Night Work - 2009), Neal Black and Nico Wayne Toussaint(Live and More - 2011), and Tom Principato(Guitars on Fire - 2011). Fred Chapellier was also Jacques Dutonc's guitarist on his 2009 tour, and is featured on the CD and DVD Et Vous, Et Vous, Et Vous (2010). A semi-finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2012, Fred Chapellier released his most personal album, Electric Fingers, in October, followed by the double live and studio album Electric Communion in 2014.
