Frédéric De Backer, known professionally as Fred Baker, was born on September 18, 1972, in Tournai, Belgium. He is a Belgian record producer and disc jockey specializing in electronic and trance music. Baker's career began in 1996 with the Ibiza hit "Y-Traxx â Mystery Land", produced with Laurent David and TC Process. The following year, his production "GrooveZone â Eisbaer" sold over 300,000 copies. In 2006, Baker produced the official anthem for Sensation in Belgium, "Forever Friends". Notable releases include the EPs Sunshine EP (2007) and Requiem (2009). As a producer, he has collaborated with artists such as Mr Sam, MIKE, and Terry Bones.
