Biography

The Fraternity of Man was an American blues rock and psychedelic rock group formed in the 1960s. The group consisted of Richie Hayward, Warren Klein, Martin Kibbee, Elliot Ingber, and Lawrence "Stash" Wagner. They released their debut album, The Fraternity of Man, in 1968. Their breakthrough occurred with the song “Don't Bogart Me” (1968), also known as “Don't Bogart That Joint”, which appeared in the 1969 film Easy Rider. Their second album, Get It On!, followed in 1969. Discography releases also include the EP X (1995). The band broke up after recording two albums.
