Biography
Comprising Ned Franc (guitar, production) and Jon Moody (keyboards, production), Franc Moody are a British duo reviving disco, funk and synthpop in 2020s electronic fashion. Formed in London in 2018, the band made a name for themselves with a debut album released in 2018, Dance Moves, followed two years later by Dream in Colour, released under their managers' label, Juicebox Recordings. The two musicians then set up their own label, bearing the name of the House of FM EP, which was released in 2021. After the release of Into the Ether in 2022, Franc Moody signed with Night Time Stories and recorded the album Chewing the Fat, which reached No. 4 in the independent charts in 2025.
