Fortunate Youth is an American reggae rock band formed in 2009 in Hermosa Beach, California. The band's sound blends reggae, roots reggae, and reggae rock genres, aiming to spread peace, love, and unity through their music. The current lineup consists of Dan Kelly (lead vocals), Jered Draskovich (keyboard, bass), Corey Draskovich (guitar, bass keyboard), Travis Walpole (percussion, guitar, backing vocals), Greg Gelb (bass, guitar), and Revelation Kalauli (drums). They debuted with the Up-Lifted EP in 2010 and gained prominence with albums such as Irie State of Mind (2011), It's All A Jam (2013), and Don't Think Twice (2015), each showcasing the band's evolution and their ability to top charts. Their self-titled album Fortunate Youth released in 2017, Live from California in 2020, and Good Times (Roll On) in 2021 continued their success, featuring collaborations with other artists and securing top positions on reggae charts. In 2025, they followed between two live sets with Love for the Music.
