Biography
Foreign Born was an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California during the summer of 2003. The group consisted of Lewis Pesacov on guitar, Matt W. Popieluch on vocals and guitar, Garrett Ray on drums, and Ariel Rechtshaid on bass. They released their first EP, In the Remote Woods, in 2005 after self-producing their initial singles. In 2007, Foreign Born signed with Dim Mak Records and released their debut album, On The Wing Now (2007). Their second and final album, Person To Person, was released on Secretly Canadian in June 2009. The band appeared in the pilot episode of the TV series Chuck in 2007. Foreign Born went on indefinite hiatus in August 2011 to allow members to pursue other musical projects.
