For The Poet (ìì¸ì ìíì¬) is a South Korean indie band formed by ì ì¹í (guitar), ì ê²½ì° (vocals, guitar), and ì´ë²í¬ (drums), debuting on August 25, 2021. The group traces its roots back to high school, where the members first played together, but lifeâs detours led them down separate paths in their early twenties. While ì ì¹í and ì´ë²í¬ pursued music studies, ì ê²½ì° initially chose a different direction, eventually returning to music after military service with a renewed passion. Reuniting with his old bandmates, ì ê²½ì° invited ì ì¹í and ì´ë²í¬ to form For The Poet, blending their shared history and musical chemistry. The band released their first single "ë
¸ëê½" in 2021, followed by "ì¬ëì¸ê±°ì§", "ê°í", and "Summer night" in 2022, gradually carving a name for themselves in the K-indie scene. In April 2025, they released their first full-length album for_the_poet, marking a significant milestone in their journey as heartfelt storytellers and musicians.
