Folly, a New Jersey hardcore punk band formed in 1997 at High Point Regional High School, featured original members Agim Colaku and Geoff Towle. The band released their first EP, For My Friends, in 2001 through New World Records. Their debut album, Insanity Later, was produced by Sal Villanueva and released on April 6, 2004, via Triple Crown Records. Following the release of their second album, Resist Convenience on March 10, 2006, Folly toured extensively with bands such as Senses Fail and Moneen. Their final release was a self-released digital EP entitled These are the Names of Places We Broke Down In in 2008 before the band announced their split in April 2008 with three farewell shows. Post-disbandment, Folly re-issued Insanity Later on vinyl in 2019 and released new music, "Walter White Whale", on September 30, 2022.
