Folkstone, a folk metal band from Bergamo, Italy, was formed in 2005 by Lorenzo, Ferro, and Forese. Their first release was the demo Briganti di Montagna in 2007. In 2008, Folkstone released their self-titled debut album on Fuel Records. The band's lineup evolved over the years with notable changes such as Davide "Ghera" Gherardi being replaced by Luca in 2010. Their subsequent albums include Damnati ad Metalla (2010), Sgangogatt (2011), Il confine (2012), and Oltre... l'abisso (2014).
