Biography
Fokca is a young rapper from Marseille. Coming from a post-classical generation of French rap, he is part of the new wave with a music influenced by Atlanta trap, carried by rhythmic sounds, marked adlibs and effective melodies. He made a name for himself in 2023 with the track "Freestyle O2", a highly acclaimed first single that marked his entry onto the emerging scene. His first project, Qui est Baby Fokca? was released the same year, revealing a spontaneous, raw universe nourished by both American rap and the current dynamics of French rap. In 2024, he followed this up with a second EP, QEBF? 2, which confirmed his ability to set an identifiable mood and play on effective sonic gimmicks.
